TAG members made quite a showing Christmas week in spite of the busy time of year. They delivered 85 entries to fill the gallery. We tried a new approach and accepted entries in subject categories rather than by media. Categories were Figures and Portraits, Still-life, Non- Objective, Landscapes, and 3D, and Sculpture. It was interesting to have watercolors and mixed media competing with oils or pen and ink.
The show was ably judged by Judy Sager. Judy is a long time educator and teacher in all media, as well as an exhibiting artist. As it turned out there were winners in each of the various media. Awards were all cash for this show. Best of Show received $200. 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $75, and 3rd Place $50.
Many thanks to all our members who entered. You have shared your talents and your techniques. You have represented our Guild beautifully and you have inspired us all. Happy Painting!
