Tendaris Walling Bio
Tendaris Walling has been painting for over 15 years, studying under nationally known artist Daniel Greene, Frank Webb, Steve Quillar, Doug Walton and many more. Her favorite living artists are Richard Schmid and David Leffel.
After attending college and retiring from her day job she devotes her time to teaching all ages and earning a living through her paintings. Oil is her primary medium. Her technique emphasizes the chiaroscuro (light and dark) methods; Plus learning to hold the brush correctly, mixing colors and arranging compositions with their own still life set ups.
She was honored as the “2006 Shining Star” by the Arts League. She is treasurer, plein air and portrait coordinator for Trinity Arts Guild. Past vice- president of Trinity Arts Guild and past president & signature member of the Society of Watercolor Artists in Fort Worth. She holds memberships in the Trinity Arts Guild, Mid Cities Artists and the outdoor Painters Society.
